Getting our quotation: if your property is a two bedroom apartment or smaller, we find it is most effective to give you your quotation by telephone or email. But if your move is considerably larger in scale, then we do need our operative to view your property to provide you with a detailed estimate of the job.
Choosing Dates for Your Removal:
We will be pleased to accommodate your date at short notice if we can, so always check with our office on the times available for booking. Ideally, of course, we prefer 7 to 14 days’ notice.
The Day You Move
Our operatives and vehicles will arrive at your home with all the required tools and equipment to carry out your particular removal. If items are too big to pass through narrow doors or hallways, then we will speedily dismantle and reassemble the furniture. We come prepared to remove doors so that large furniture, such as your sofas or fold-away beds, can pass safely through. Or we’ll temporarily remove sash windows so large items of furniture can be transported by our Crews to ground level.
Our Crews perform all these manoeuvres on a daily basis, so we are ready to take care of things for you. Understandably, of course, we do need advance notice for pianos or similar large objects which will need two or more men to carry.
